Every worked example, price, range, and reading is illustrative: the figures are chosen to teach the method and do not describe actual trades or results. The exceptions are the readings of real charts in chapters 12, 19 and 20, which are marked as such. Each is shown as it was read at the time, as an example of the method, and is not a trade record, a forecast, or a recommendation. Hypothetical examples have limits. They do not reflect real trading, including slippage, commissions, and the pressure of live decisions. Past performance, real or hypothetical, is no guide to future results.

The research cited in this book is cited to explain ideas, and the summaries are the author’s own. Citing a source does not mean the source endorses this book.
