These steps are for the thinkorswim desktop platform. The web and mobile versions can show a study once it is on your account, but creating one needs the desktop.

Way 1: Fibonacci Retracements

Draw it on a locked box

1. Open the Charts tab and your market. Set the time frame to the box’s period (for a monthly box, a Month aggregation) and note last month’s high and low.
2. Right-click the chart, choose Drawings, then Fibonacci Retracements (or pick it from the drawing tools).
3. Click on last month’s high, then on its low.
